Welcome back to another Diary Moments!
This month has been full of holidays (seriously, so many omg 😂). This morning I had breakfast with my friends, and after finishing our meal we ended up chatting for ages and even planning a Japan trip—so sudden, but so exciting haha. Later today, I’ll be recording a podcast with a guest, which feels like such a great way to kick off the day.
Looking back at my August digital planner, I didn’t plan too much, but I did spend almost every day on podcast work—reading scripts, recording, and editing. I also tried to plan a holiday, but honestly, this year feels too unpredictable, so I’ve decided to push those travel plans to next year and see how it goes.
August Highlights
- Met with a group of travel bloggers (the room was packed—so many people omg!).
- Found an error fare, but sadly the website showed everything in USD… not so great for my wallet.
- Received a text from a travel blogger saying she’d love to join my podcast. I was so touched and thankful!
- Discovered a new café—yay! But the real highlight was their aquarium. The fish were so relaxing to watch.
- Watched another beautiful sunset. It’s always peaceful and grounding.
- Recorded my first episode with my friend Ke Wei, the blogger behind Finding a Reason to Travel. We couldn’t stop laughing when we started, but I’m so glad we did it—it was so much fun!
- Spent time writing scripts and planning podcast recording dates for the next two weeks.
- Visited a mini zoo again. I thought the weather would be fine, but it turned out to be a super hot summer day. I was absolutely dying when I got home 🥵.
August in My Digital Planner
My August digital planner pages weren’t as full as other months, but they still captured little everyday joys and big creative moments. Most of the focus went to podcast projects, but I’m glad I managed to squeeze in meet-ups, café visits, and even a mini zoo trip.
Sometimes, life doesn’t need to be fully packed with plans—just a few meaningful highlights make the month special.
