Happy holidays for the weekend! Weekend vibes from Kuala Lumpur are all about relaxing at home, enjoying games, and soaking up the local culture. This holiday weekend, I stayed in, embraced some quiet time, and even joined a fun festival tradition for the Dragon Boat Festival.
In case you didn’t know—eggs symbolize life and new beginnings. Standing an egg upright during the Dragon Boat Festival represents vitality and good fortune for the coming year, expressing wishes for safety and smoothness. 🍀 but this is the first time I join my mom for make this is quite fun and all the egg really can stand. Today was amazing cause we win a hotel voucher at least!

A Lucky Surprise in the Morning!
Although I didn’t wake up super early, the first thing I did was check my bank account—and surprise! I had good news: I finally reached my savings goal! 🎯
Because of that, I got a chance to pick a random gift. I asked my mom to pick it for me… and guess what? I won a RM1000 hotel voucher! OMG! 🍀✨
Though I can’t use it right away (no leave days at the moment), I’m planning to save more and hopefully start my digital nomad journey soon. The universe is giving me a hint, right? 😆

Sunday Plan Work at Cafe and Visit The Game Booth
On Sunday, I worked at a café to set up my blog and work on my social media content calendar using my digital planner. The mall was crowded—public holiday + Malaysia’s super hot weather = everyone enjoying the free aircon! 🥵❄️ Nothing beats the weekend vibes from Kuala Lumpur during a festive holiday!
After finishing up my tasks, I visited the game booth and played some of my favorite Nintendo Switch games. Lucky me—they were having a mini game event in the mall and also the Super Mario Bros. Wonder that I want to play as well!

Gamers Hideout Event
so lucky that join this event and playing some games! Super Mario and Mario Kart of course!

Already Bought the Switch… But Still Want to Play! 🎮
They had a few TVs set up, and you could pick which game to try. The staff were super friendly and explained everything. I loved Mario Party Jamboree—the mini-games are short, fun, and great for family play. I also tried Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which I’ve been wanting to test forever. It’s not too hard, and really funny when you play with friends!
I had to wait about 10 minutes for my turn, but afterward, nobody was in line—so I kept playing! 😄 Sadly, they weren’t selling the games on-site, so I’ll probably order online later.
If you have the opportunity to play this game of life you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don’t appreciate the moment until it’s passed.

Heading Home and the view is was so beautiful
On the way home, the view was so beautiful. 🌇 Moments like this remind me how lucky we are to make it through the day and still look forward to the next one. Life brings challenges, but let’s stay positive—you never know what magic tomorrow brings.
I’m going to miss this cozy weekend. Back to the office tomorrow… sigh (but smiling).
Thanks so much for reading.
Have a beautiful day.
