Hey, welcome back! actually this is the old post on my blog but I think is time to post and I glad this post still alive so I just rewrite a little. I’m so glad to be here again, especially with one of my favorite topics—it always makes me feel more positive. I know I often talk about how amazing London is, so I really wanted to write down a few reasons why I think London is the best place for me. I been to London twice and I still have the same feel about London. So Why I Love London?
1. The People Are So Nice
Honestly, this is the first thing that comes to mind. Before I started my trip, so many people warned me: “Be careful, don’t trust strangers too easily, don’t look at your phone while walking,” and so on. I get it—my face makes me look young and small, and maybe that makes me seem like an easy target. But I’m really glad to say that during this long-distance trip, the people I met were truly kind, especially in London.
Some people told me, “Londoners aren’t nice,” and I was actually quite scared before I arrived. I even considered canceling the trip. But then I told myself: “This might be my only chance to visit London—so just go!” I packed my things and headed to the airport.
And guess what? It turned out to be amazing. I’m so glad I didn’t give up.
2. People Are Helpful (Especially to Strangers)
No matter where I am, I always get lost—and London is huge! I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one, haha. But every time I needed help, people were gentle and kind. Whether I was at a bus station, in a shop, on the street, or even right outside my house (I had trouble opening the gate door—yup, that’s me, clumsy as always), people would offer help without me asking.
One time, I was struggling with the door, and a young man came up and asked, “Hey, what can I help you with?” I told him, “I just can’t open the gate,” probably with a confused face. He helped right away. That moment really stayed with me.
3. The Food Is Great (for Me!)
One of my favorite things about London is the food. I know it’s expensive—I mean, I once bought a salad at a museum and it cost £9! But it tasted amazing. Yeah and only salad and potato could be my favourite till my second time to visit for English breakfast but to be honest is too huge! So really good to shop and cook at Airbnb or home!
That said, I don’t always eat out. I actually love Tesco! It’s very different from the Tesco in my country. They have tons of ready-made meals—you just buy them and heat them up. Perfect for lazy people like me, haha! And the snacks in the UK are so good, I wish I could have brought more home… but sadly, my luggage was already full.
Klook.com4. I Love How Pet-Friendly the City Is
When I arrived in London, I saw dogs everywhere—and they’re allowed on the subway and in shopping malls too! That really surprised me, because in my country, pets usually aren’t allowed in those places.
It made me so happy to see people bringing their dogs everywhere. I love animals, and I really admire people who care for them. It’s just so sweet.
Thanks so much for reading.
Have a beautiful day.
