Hello and welcome back! I’m so excited to share another post from my London stay — and yes, this time it’s all about my experience at a cozy studio Airbnb in Fulham. I really enjoyed this stay, and if you’re considering booking a similar place, I hope this post helps you decide!

Premier Inn Heathrow: Surprisingly Great Stay at the Airport Hotel
✨ First Impressions
If you’ve ever traveled to the UK or Europe, you probably already know one thing — stairs are inevitable. Whether you’re staying in a hotel or Airbnb, hauling your luggage up flights of stairs is part of the experience. My last hotel had three steep flights, so this place felt like a blessing in comparison — just one flight up.
My room was in a basement-style unit, which was actually quite cool. I finally got to experience what it’s like to live underground!
One thing I really appreciated was the keyless entry. Everything was digital — just a code to unlock the door. It made coming back every day super easy and modern.
The neighbourhood left a great first impression. It was clean, peaceful, and looked like something out of a British drama. Beautiful houses lined the street, and I couldn’t help but think, “Wow, this is definitely where the rich people live.”
Klook.comCheck-in was smooth. I contacted the host via WhatsApp (since Booking.com was a bit slow), and he sent me the passcode directly. Super easy and hassle-free!
When I got to the door, I was thrilled — it looked exactly like the photos. Inside, the space was compact (especially the bathroom), but incredibly cozy. It had a bed, sofa, small kitchen, and wardrobe — everything felt homey and welcoming.
My first impression? Great choice!
📍 Location
One of the main reasons I chose this place was the convenience — there was a Tesco just down the street! I love cooking when I travel, and walking to the local supermarket every evening became a little happy routine. They also offer discounted meals at night, which is perfect for budget-conscious foodies.
Transportation was great, too. Both the bus and underground stations were just a 10-minute walk away. I personally love walking, and I even caught my first London sunset while exploring. It felt magical.
🛏️ The Room
At first glance, the room looked a bit… mini. The furniture was small, but since I’m petite myself, I actually found it super cute! The whole space had a strong IKEA vibe — compact but functional. Small, yes, but every corner was thoughtfully designed.
My favorite part? The kitchen. I didn’t eat out much — instead, I bought groceries from Tesco and cooked simple meals. There was also a smart TV with access to Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and even some Hong Kong shows (though it was a bit strange hearing them dubbed in English, haha!).
🧼 Cleanliness & Service
I arrived early and dropped off my luggage before the official check-in. The room wasn’t fully cleaned yet, but still looked tidy. After lunch, I returned and checked in properly — the whole place felt clean, fresh, and comfortable.
While Airbnbs in London aren’t exactly cheap, I found this stay worth the price. It gave me the feeling of having a little home abroad, and everything in the apartment worked perfectly — including the TV, which I enjoyed every night.
🔐 Check-In Process
I had a minor issue with the door code at first, and Booking.com was slow to respond. Thankfully, the host had shared his phone number, and I was able to contact him directly. (He even mentioned that Booking messages often come in late — not just for me!)
Once I got the correct code, everything went smoothly. The front door required a firm push, and there was an extra step to turn on the lights inside — you needed to scan and enter the code again. It felt a bit complicated at first, but by the next day, I had the routine down.
Klook.com🔊 Downsides: Noise & Space
Let’s be honest — the space was smaller than it looked in photos, especially the shower area. Even for someone my size, it felt cramped. If you’re claustrophobic, this could be an issue.
Also, the soundproofing wasn’t great. I could clearly hear other guests opening and closing doors. The building actually has multiple rooms rented out separately, so it’s not a private unit. You have your own room, but it’s more like a shared Airbnb setup.
That said, I still felt safe and comfortable during my entire stay.
🌇 Nearby & Transportation
Fulham isn’t far from central London, and the nearest train station was just a 10-minute walk. Tesco was only 6 minutes away — perfect for quick grocery runs (especially in the freezing cold!). Walking into warm Tesco from the frosty streets felt amazing.
The highlight? The sunsets. I caught some stunning views just while walking around.
Pro tip: Bring a proper winter coat! I underestimated how cold London could get — my friends warned me, and yes, they were right!
🍳 Kitchen & Extras
If you’re traveling on a budget and want to save on food, this place is a win. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook simple meals, store leftovers, and enjoy food at home.
The entertainment setup was a huge bonus — having Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video made evenings extra cozy.
🌟 Overall Thoughts
Would I recommend this place? Yes — especially if you’re looking for a cozy, budget-friendly studio in a peaceful neighborhood that’s still close to central London. It’s perfect for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind a small space.
Just manage your expectations about size and soundproofing — and you’ll have a great experience.
