I’m so excited to share my experience unboxing Nintendo Switch OLED, a console I’ve dreamed of owning for years. After coming back to Kuala Lumpur From London Trip, I finally got myself a gift I’ve wanted for ages — the Nintendo Switch OLED. I’ve always dreamed of playing my favourite games like Super Mario, and last Christmas, I decided it was time to get it. Here’s my unboxing experience, the first games I bought, and why I chose the OLED version.
I spent a lot of time researching online, checking reviews, comparing prices, and finally bought it from Shopee during a big sale. Lucky me — it was on discount, so I got it cheaper than usual! so happy to save money for my favourite switch!

My First Nintendo Switch Games 🎮
As you may know, the Nintendo Switch console doesn’t come with any games so —maybe just some demo game that you can download for trying. So of course, I had to buy some games right away. Here are the first games I got:
- Cuphead – A Classic and challenging but super cute game!
- World War Z – For some action-packed zombie fighting.
- Overcooked! All You Can Eat – My favourite so far! Especially fun with friends. Burn the kitchen and send the wrong order is my daily plan haha.
- Stardew Valley – For relaxing, farming, and peaceful vibes Sound like Animals Crossing.
I didn’t expect to spend so much, but I don’t regret a single purchase! Overcooked is the best when playing with someone. It’s pure chaos and laughter! Oh, and I also downloaded Fall Guys! It’s super funny and perfect to play with lots of people. The best part? It’s free on Epic Games! You don’t need to pay anything, and it’s easy to connect and play online with your friends. This was actually the first game I played with Anthony!

Why I Chose OLED – My Nintendo Switch OLED Unboxing Story
here is some reason I chose the Nintendo Switch OLED instead of the Lite for a few reasons. One of the biggest advantages is that it can connect to my TV and mini projector, which makes gaming feel more immersive — especially when playing with family. The bigger screen really brings the games to life!
Some people say the OLED model is a bit bulky to carry around, but I personally don’t mind it at all. I still bring it with me on trips, and it’s perfect for road travel. I always pack my Switch along with my Kindle — they make the journey so much more fun! here is my photo see the scene is was so pretty not only for movie night sometimes can be a game night!

Don’t Forget to Get Nintendo Switch Online Membership
f you want to play with friends online, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online membership. You can choose between monthly or yearly plans. You can even open 2–3 accounts if you want more trial chances. 🥳Sometimes, Nintendo also gives out free trial periods during festivals or special events, so make sure to follow their social media or check their website.

Final Thoughts
Buying the Nintendo Switch was one of the best gifts I’ve given myself. Whether you’re a total beginner or already a gaming fan, it’s definitely worth it — especially during sales. You’ll save a lot of money, haha! I still have so many games on my wishlist to buy… but I’m happy with what I’ve got so far. If you’re planning your own unboxing Nintendo Switch OLED moment, trust me—it’s worth every ringgit.
