It’s been a while since I last shared a multi-city flight deal, but today I’m excited because I finally found some fantastic options worth talking about.
There have been plenty of airfare promotions recently, although some destinations have been affected by ongoing global events. Because of that, I haven’t felt comfortable sharing every deal. Thankfully, these Europe fares with Etihad Airways are a great option for travellers planning ahead.

If you’ve been dreaming of exploring multiple countries in Europe without backtracking, this is for you.
After a long break, my Multi-City Flight Deals series is finally back! This time, I’ve found several affordable Etihad Airways multi-city routes from Kuala Lumpur to Europe that let you arrive in one city and fly home from another. It’s one of my favourite ways to travel because it gives you far more flexibility and helps you see more of Europe in a single trip.
Etihad Multi-City Deals I Found
Here are some of the cheapest itineraries I found from Kuala Lumpur for May–June 2027, which is one of Europe’s peak summer travel seasons.

- KUL – CDG – ZUR – KUL = RM2449
- KUL – MUC – BRU – KUL = RM2780
- KUL – LHR – MXP – KUL = RM2441
- KUL – AMS – BCN – KUL = RM2687
As always, flight prices change frequently depending on availability, so Airfares change constantly depending on availability, so these prices should be treated as a reference rather than guaranteed fares.
Why This Deal Caught My Attention
Whenever I’m searching for flight deals, I’m not just looking for the lowest price—I’m looking for value.
These Etihad Airways multi-city fares stood out because they let you start your journey in one European city and finish in another. Instead of returning to your arrival city just to catch your flight home, you can continue exploring new destinations until the very end of your trip.
For me, that’s one of the biggest travel hacks for Europe.
Since European cities are so well connected by trains, buses, and budget airlines, a multi-city itinerary often makes much more sense than a traditional return ticket.
Better yet, some of these fares are priced very similarly to standard round-trip flights, giving you much more flexibility without a significant increase in cost.
Klook.comWhy This Deal Is Worth Considering
One of the biggest advantages of these fares is their flexibility.
Rather than limiting yourself to one destination, you can design a journey that takes you across multiple countries without wasting time returning to your starting point.
Here are a few reasons why I think these deals are worth considering:
• Visit multiple countries in one holiday.
• Avoid backtracking to your arrival city.
• Take advantage of Europe’s excellent rail network and low-cost airlines.
• Spend more time exploring and less time travelling.
• In many cases, pay a price similar to a traditional return ticket.
Booking Tips
Before booking any multi-city ticket, here are a few things I always check:
Compare Different Dates
Even shifting your departure by one or two days can sometimes save a significant amount.
Check Baggage Allowance
Different fare classes include different baggage allowances, so make sure you know what’s included before booking.
Klook.comLeave Enough Transit Time
If your itinerary includes separate train or budget airline bookings, always allow extra time in case of delays.
Check Visa Requirements
Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa or travel authorisation before entering certain countries. Always verify the latest entry requirements before your trip. Malaysian passport holders can currently travel visa-free within the Schengen Area for short stays. However, if your itinerary includes the United Kingdom, you’ll need to apply for a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling. As entry requirements can change, always check the latest regulations before booking.
Plan Your Transport Early
High-speed train tickets in Europe are often cheaper when booked in advance, especially during the summer travel season.
Final Thoughts
If you’re planning a Europe adventure, don’t automatically assume that a traditional return ticket is your best option.
A multi-city itinerary allows you to experience more destinations, avoid unnecessary backtracking, and make better use of your time in Europe. In many cases, the airfare isn’t much more expensive than a standard return ticket, making it excellent value for travellers who want to see more.
These Etihad Airways fares are a great reminder that the best flight deals aren’t always the cheapest—they’re the ones that help you maximise your travel experience.
